Midday Moon In A Springtime Meadow Handmade Batik Scarf in Organic Cotton - Long Length

Measurements for this scarf are approximately 64" x 13"  

Colors for this scarf begin with turquoise base layer over an established wax design, and hand dyed a light lemon yellow.  It was then dyed another layer of turquoise, giving off little bits of blue in the twinkling stars. 

This soft fabric was handwoven with organic cotton before I created the batik design.  There are natural variations in the weave.  My vigorous batik process ensures the strength of the fiber, which means you can machine was this. 

Edges appear raw cut but are reinforced with an organic cotton zigzag seam around the perimeter of the scarf. 

Fabric: 100% organic cotton

Washing instructions: Machine wash is best, then tumbled dry low until damp and hang to dry to shape.
